IIM A how to get admission to the IIM- A

 IIM-A is one of the best MBA institutes in India that provides everything to the students they can wish. Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), toped in NIRF 2020 ranking, also has the status of Institute of National Importance.


FYI: It was founded on 11 December 1961.

How to get admission to the IIM-A?

Students who wish to get admission into IIM-A need to qualify for the CAT exam i.e. Common Entrance Test. Annually numerous students prepare for this exam, and a few get chance to study in IIMs. The thing is valid CAT score is mandatory to apply for admission into courses like

       PGP

       PGP-FaBM

       E-PGP and E-PGD-ABA

The program molds its students into rigid and inventive ways of dealing with complex and real-life management problems. Apart from this, they also accept applications from other entrance exams like

       GRE/GMAT

       GATE(For M.tech)

       UGC-JRF & ICAR-SRF(For PhD programs and other related research programs)

 

Eligibility Criteria:

       The essential eligibility criteria is a graduation degree with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates.

       A minimum of 45 per cent for SC, ST, & PWD/DA

       If you are in the final year of your graduation, you can apply for IIM.

       If you are on the list of qualifying cut-offs, you will get an interview call.

 

Things to Remember

       If you get selected for the second phase, you will be notified through an email about the WAT/GD-PI.

       The Candidates have to participate in the WAT/GD-PI for the last phase of admission.

       So prepare well and practise more if you want to get into the IIMA

Fees Details:

Fee can vary according to the courses. But Post Graduate Program in Management [PGPM] would cost you about 23 Lakh.

 

Annual Package Details:

       The average salary package of IIMA students ranges from Rs 20-25 lakh per year. 

       The highest salary package ever seen ranges from Rs 70 lakh to Rs 1 crore offered as CTC.
